Tap End Stud
Tap end studs have threading on both end of piece and the remaining is unthreaded. One side of Tap end stud is called tap end and another side is called nut end. Threading length on nut end side is more then tap end side. Tap end studs are manufactured by using either bright bars or black rolled bars. Thread forming is done by process of thread cutting. Threading confirms to ASME B1.1 Class 2A for UN & UNC threads.
